The brushed metal is suffering (this was especially noticeable during playback). And no, I have no explanation for the column of dots on the left in the xterm. It happens on every frame that intersects the xterm, at the same position relative to the viewport.

The Dock has gone watercolor. The text in OmniWeb isn't looking too healthy, either. Strangely, however, xterm is holding up fine — it's even lost its unexplained column of dots. No artifacts whatsoever there now.

By the way, Animation and Video are among QuickTime's oldest codecs, being present in QuickTime 1.0. That's according to develop #7, which was the introduction of QuickTime.
